O autismo é um transtorno do desenvolvimento que afeta a forma como o cérebro processa informações e interage com o mundo ao seu redor. Estima-se que uma em cada 59 crianças esteja no espectro autista, o que torna crucial a compreensão de como o cérebro autista constrói as emoções A neurociência tem desempenhado um papel fundamental na investigação do processamento emocional no cérebro autista. Estudos têm mostrado que as pessoas com autismo muitas vezes experienciam as emoções de forma diferente, o que pode afetar suas interações sociais e seu bem-estar emocional. Portanto, compreender como o cérebro autista constrói as emoções é essencial para desenvolver estratégias de intervenção eficazes e promover o bem-estar emocional e social de indivíduos no espectro autista. Este artigo analisa como o cérebro autista processa emoções de forma distinta, explorando diferenças estruturais e funcionais em regiões como amígdala, córtex pré-frontal e redes sociais. Estudos recentes mostram que o TEA apresenta padrões intensificados de percepção, hiperconectividade e estilos cognitivos focados em detalhes, influenciando diretamente a experiência emocional. O objetivo é desconstruir estereótipos, destacando a neurodiversidade como uma variação natural da neurobiologia humana.
